I wanted a Taste of the Outback

New video showcasing our most popular tour

Australia is no ordinary country, and our Taste of the Outback tour is no ordinary adventure. Last month we partnered with travel production team Rat & Dragon to shoot a video that showcases Outback Australia! Shot on the Taste of the Outback tour, we visited the iconic town of Birdsville & ventured out to Big Red for stunning sunset drinks. We also flew over Lake Eyre (the largest salt lake in Australia), cruised the Cooper Creek and 4 wheel drived our way through the Flinders Ranges, all in 4 days.

The video focuses on the destinations and the characters that you’ll meet along the way. We love Outback Australia and we’ve made it our challenge to take travellers to locations that we believe make Australia truly unique.

Watch our video to go on a journey and get a Taste of the Outback.

No worries Miriam, it was our pleasure.

“Good morning Tony & Nick, missing you and all the other interesting folk on the tour already. Big thanks for a wonderful trip. It was very special for me, loved every minute and moment. Spent hours looking at my photos (with a smile on my face).

Thanks again and best wishes.”

Nick finds a new co-pilot

Rosie joins the Kirkhope Aviation team

Pilot Nick snapped this on location at Muloorina Station, South Australia. Rosie is a pampered beagle with a roaring interest in aviation.

Seen above, Rosie was doing what any good co-pilot would do – completing a daily inspection of the aircraft before we set off to the Flinders Ranges. She didn’t find any faults!

Cape York now departing 8th July

Here’s a short glimpse into Lizard Island on our 13 Day Cape York Tour.

Rise late and take a leisurely breakfast, relaxing in the island paradise that is Lizard Island. Morning activities are at our guests discretion, however a walk to Cooks Look, the highest point of the island, provides panoramic 360 degree views and is sure to make your morning.
*This is our 24th June trip which has been moved to the 8th July
