May/June 2015 Newsletter

We always endeavour to make our website user friendly, and therefore we’ve had a facelift which now gives you easier access to the various tours. The menus have been modified to give better user visibility and a search function has been added to the Home page. We believe this will make it easier to browse the website for a particular tour or destination, however we’re always open to improvements and value your comments.

We were sub-contracted to assist Air Services in calibrating the radar system around Melbourne. This involved accurately flying in circles around Melbourne at varying altitudes up to 25,000 feet. Great sunny days and we had terrific views of Melbourne city and the bay.

The Lake Eyre Taste of the Outback trips continue to prove successful. Our pilot, Tony Wood took great care of our 8 passengers and the 3 day trip was a great success. Lake Eyre, although dry, continues to be spectacular.

“We had so many magical experiences and although I have travelled a great deal there is absolutely nothing that comes near to this tour”

We also completed a 3 day Lake Eyre trip in our KingAir. This trip inlcuded a visit to William Creek. The next two Lake Eyre “Taste of the Outback” tours depart June 12th and July 17th….Enquire NOW

Gawler Ranges and Kangaroo Island…5 day tour in  April. It was great to have a group enjoying a “family reunion” on this trip.

A busy touring day on Kangaroo Island, then a highlight was swimming with the Sea Lions on the way to Gawler Ranges. Once again Geoff and Rene were magnificent hosts at Kangaluna bush camp joining inwith some singing and music around the campfire.

See some videos on our Facebook page.

Our next Gawler/Kangaroo Island trip is 26th Sept (NEW for the  calendar in the wildflower season).

Various charters: Another typical short notice charter to Temora fullfilled the purpose of getting people to an important function on time.

We also flew a group to Hamilton for the day and a one day charter to Griffith.

These charters are great examples of what can be done comfortably in a day.
