New Years Eve Fireworks Flights 2024

Join Australian Air Safaris celebrating the arrival of 2025 with a scenic flight over Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay on New Years Eve! Flying in our Cessna Grand Caravan EX, you'll get a stunning panoramic view of the Melbourne skyline in the early evening, at the 9:30pm fireworks or the midnight fireworks. Each session includes canapés and drinks in the hangar before and after the flight.

Formation Scenic (check-in from 4:30pm, 6:00pm flight)
$390 per person

Enjoy a 1-hour scenic flight around the Melbourne CBD and Port Phillip Bay, with both aircraft flying in formation as you watch the sun getting lower for the last time in 2024. Canapés and drinks before and after make this the perfect event to start your NYE celebrations. Flight returns at approximately 7:00pm, session ends at 7:30pm.

Note: no fireworks are visible during the 6:00pm Formation Scenic flight.

9:30pm Fireworks (check-in from 7:30pm, 9:10pm flight)

See the 9:30pm fireworks over the Melbourne CBD on a 45-minute flight. Orbiting the city at sundown, feel the anticipation build as the family fireworks launch below you and the city comes to life. Return to Moorabbin Airport at approximately 10:00pm, session ends at 10:30pm.

Midnight Fireworks (check-in from 10:00pm, 11:40pm flight)
$685 per person

Welcome the New Year orbiting around the Melbourne CBD on a 45-minute flight. Departing shortly before midnight, take position around the Melbourne city skyline and watch the crowds from the comfort of your window seat. Count down to midnight with your fellow passengers and watch the lights show erupt throughout Melbourne, not just in the city but extending out along the coast and into the suburbs.

Flight returns at approximately 12:25am, session ends at 1:00am.

Seating in groups of 2, 4 or 8 are available, but single bookings are also welcome.
