Depart for Port Lincoln on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

Meet local experts who will guide you for the next three days. First stop is The Fresh Fish Place, which processes and supplies seafood to the businesses around the Eyre Peninsula, as well as selling direct to the public. Lunch on fresh fish and chips before a mini masterclass with Gav Myers from Myers Seafood. A tour of Port Lincoln rounds out the afternoon.

In the evening, join local chef and restaurant owner Kris Bunder in his beautiful home on the marina overlooking a Port Lincoln canal. Observe, learn and taste as Kris displays his culinary skills in this seafood masterclass and private dinner.

2 nights: Port Lincoln Hotel, Ocean View Balcony Rooms

Day 2: Boston Bay Winery and Marina Cruise (B,L,D)

After a lazy breakfast, head to Boston Bean for an amazing coffee before heading to Boston Bay Wines.

At Boston Bay Wines, taste a few wines before lunch. Cook your fish with the winery’s owner and chef Tony Ford. Then sit down at a table with a view of Boston Bay to enjoy the result.
Head out onto the water for a private marina cruise on board the Tesla, a unique electric canal cruiser. Soak up the surroundings and rich history of Port Lincoln’s fishing industry. Quiet, eco-friendly and tranquil, this is a perfect way to discover Port Lincoln’s millionaire’s paradise and Australia’s largest commercial fishing fleet.

Dine tonight at The Line & Label, awarded a second Australian Good Food and Travel Guide Chef Hat in 2019. Offering the best Eyre Peninsula produce in creative menus, The Line & Label is set amongst the vineyards at Peter Teakle Wines.

Day 3: Coffin Bay to home city (B,L)

After breakfast, visit the very first purpose-built purse seine fishing boat, “The Tecoma”. See, touch and feel the motion of the boat and learn about its history on the water. Next, take a drive up to Winters Hill for views over Boston Bay and Port Lincoln.

Drive to the nearby coastal village of Coffin Bay, surrounded by sea and National Parks, overlooking the pristine waters of Little Douglas Bay and Kellidie Bay.

Delicious food awaits at 1802 Oyster Bar, with a relaxed atmosphere and fabulous food with views of Coffin Bay. Learn about the farming and preparation for the sale of oysters, the region’s biggest export, and taste the freshest samples straight from the oyster farm. Earlier today, your pilot has snuck off to move your plane from Port Lincoln to Coffin Bay, so it’s a short journey to the airport, returning home in the evening.
