Lake Eyre with Water. Magic.
"Our trip was wonderful from start to finish. We flew for an hour over Lake Eyre marvelling at the glistening water. Beautiful. We all moved around the seats on the plane to have different views with most of our 9 tourists sitting in the co-pilots seat for one of the legs. Great tour, great pilot, great people, and great country."

Itinerary:

Depart Moorabbin at 8.00am for a spectacular one-hour flight over Port Phillip Bay and the southern coastline before crossing the strait to King Island. On arrival, you’ll be met by your local hosts — chef and guide duo Ian and Lucinda — who’ll share their passion for the island’s stories, landscapes and flavours. Travel in comfort aboard their 4WD, exploring a few island highlights and pausing to forage for wild garnishes that may feature in your lunch.

Then comes the highlight: an indulgent five-course feast at Wild Harvest, King Island’s renowned ocean-to-table restaurant. Each course, expertly introduced by Chef Ian Johnston, celebrates seasonal ingredients. Delicious Tasmanian wines complement the magnificent food.

Before flying home, there’s time to call into the King Island Dairy for a tasting of its celebrated cheeses, the perfect finale to a day of food, flight and flavour, with an opportunity to purchase their delicious cheeses to share with friends and family back home. Time to leave this foodie isle, touching down in Moorabbin around 5.30 pm.
