It’s already that time of the year again, and summer has finally arrived after a very wet second half of 2016! We hope you’ll all get time over the next few weeks to spend with your family and friends.
Santa took time to visit us for our Christmas Party last Friday night and is now considering swapping his reindeer for our Piper Chieftain. We’re currently awaiting approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to use the aircraft to tow his sleigh and will keep you posted on how it progresses.
Still looking for a Christmas present for that ‘hard to buy for’ relative, or maybe you’re looking for forgiveness for missing that anniversary? We’ve still got some vouchers available for our upcoming tours, including King Island Day Tour (Dec 30), New Years Eve 9:30pm Fireworks Flight (Dec 31), Fantastic Flinders Island (Jan 13-15, Feb 17-19, Mar 3-5) and King Island Express (Jan 20-22).

A few weeks ago we drew our winner of the Blue Illusion competition to win an all inclusive trip to Lord Howe Island. Roslyn from SA was our lucky winner and will be joining one of the tours next year!

Find your next destination
Outback Australia offers unique events that we often visit, from the Birdsville Races to the White Cliffs music festival! They’re great as a standalone destination, or better yet, as a destination on a larger Bespoke Tour.
The Big Red Bash is on again in 2017, with Lee Kernaghan and Missy Higgins headlining. Another event not to be missed!
Summer Tasmania Tours
Tasmania and its islands are the perfect destination for a summer getaway! King Island is all about golf and food this year, with two world class golf courses now open. Flinders Island is perfect for those looking for a relaxing weekend, with breathtaking views from Mt Strezlecki, pristine bays and great produce.
Weekend trips to the individual islands and four day trips encompassing both are available.

Escape for the day to Milawa
We’ve hosted a couple of Christmas parties in the past few weeks, including one group of friends who flew to Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa for a tour, tasting and then gourmet lunch at their restaurant. The nearby Milawa Cheese Company was also on the itinerary, and the Chieftain certainly did get packed full of wine and produce for the trip home.
