Fantastic Flinders Island

Tour Duration:
3 Days

Flinders Island, located in the Bass Strait, is a sanctuary of natural beauty and rugged landscapes. It features pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, dramatic granite peaks and lush hills. The Island's terrain is reminiscent of Scotland's; it is wild and woolly! Much of the region is still precisely as Matthew Flinders found it when he first explored this area over 200 years ago. The Island's historical past is sometimes dark but compelling with its cultural sites, notably Wybalenna, a historic Aboriginal settlement, and the Furneaux Museum. Join us on a full three-day tour with expert guides and explore its beauty and wonder.

Outback adventure
"The 3 day trip, Taste Of The Outback may sound short, but we packed a lot in. I loved it. The company, the plane, the outback. To be in Birdsville on day one, after visiting the area where Burke and Wills explored and died was amazing. We had a small group of six, which was great and very cosy. The best parts were walking on Lake Eyre South and seeing water in the north of the Lake. Visited a million acre cattle station, which was an eyeopener and then got to Arkaroola in the Flinders Ranges and explored there by 4WD. I can't say enough good things about this trip"
