We’ve listened and have created this special 2.5 day weekend getaway tour, where you’ll be experiencing Wilpena Pound in the beautiful Central Flinders Ranges.
Touring Rawnsley Park – Wilpena Pound
Getaway from the City with a 2.30pm Moorabbin departure, for a weekend of experiencing the magnificent Central Flinders Ranges.
After a 30 min refuelling stop in Mildura, you will soon see the Central Flinders Ranges rise out of the flat land as you come into land at Rawnsley Park Station, located at the base of Wilpena Pound. You will be transferred from the airstrip to your award winning Luxury Eco Villa accommodation to freshen up before you head out on the 2 hour Sunset 4WD Tour, where you will enjoy canapés and sparkling wine, supplied by our Woolshed Restaurant, as you watch the sunset over the ranges. You will return in time to enjoy a delicious dinner at the Woolshed Restaurant. This is only day one!

Where is Wilpena Pound?
Wilpena Pound is a natural amphitheatre of mountains located 429 kilometres (267 mi) north of Adelaide, South Australia, in the heart of the Flinders Ranges National Park. The Pound is the most northern point with access via a sealed road in this part of the Flinders Ranges. The closest town to the north is Blinman and to the south, Hawker.
Wilpena Pound is one of the most popular sites in the Flinders Ranges for international tourists to visit the outback.
